Dr. Asha Bhatia is the Dean of Research for Management, Law, Arts, and Humanities at Chandigarh University and a distinguished academic leader with over two decades of experience in academia, research, ESG, and social impact. She brings a global perspective to education and scholarship, having engaged with academic and professional communities across multiple continents.

Dr. Bhatia serves on the Board of Directors of SIFE India and chairs the ENACTUS Global Faculty Research Network, a collaborative platform connecting scholars from 33 countries. She is also a member of the International Panel of Sustainability Experts and has contributed her expertise as a judge for the prestigious QS Reimagine Awards in 2024 and 2025.

A dual MBA graduate in Human Resource Management and Finance, Dr. Bhatia holds a Ph.D. in Management Studies and has authored numerous research papers, books, and book chapters. Her internationally published case study, NEIWAI: Defining Strategies for United States Market Expansion, has been featured by Ivey Publishing and Harvard Business Publishing. She has presented her research at leading global conferences in the UAE, China, Singapore, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Kazakhstan, and Australia.

Recognized among the 10 Most Inspiring Education Leaders in India in 2025, Dr. Bhatia has received several prestigious awards, including the Forttuna Social Impact Leader of the Year in Education, the Woman of Excellence Award, and the IFIA Inventor Award. Her work bridges the gap between scholarship and real-world impact, combining research excellence with a deep commitment to social responsibility.

Dr. Bhatia continues to influence global education and sustainability initiatives while mentoring the next generation of scholars, fostering innovation, and promoting strategies that create meaningful social and environmental impact.
